Vijayawada, AP: The Andhra Pradesh government has suspended three of its own doctors for their alleged connection to the shocking Srushti Fertility Centre scam. The suspended doctors are Dr. Vasupalli Ravi from Andhra Medical College (AMC), Dr. P Ushadevi, also from AMC, and Dr. A Vidyullatha from Srikakulam government medical college. This action was taken after the three were arrested by Hyderabad police for their suspected role in the scandal, which involves serious allegations of illegal surrogacy and the selling of babies.

The Srushti Fertility Centre is accused of exploiting vulnerable couples seeking fertility treatments. According to the investigation, the clinic operated without a valid license and was involved in deeply unethical practices, including coercing women into pregnancies for money and then selling the newborn babies.Health Minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav ordered the suspensions, stating that allowing the accused doctors to remain in their posts could "erode public confidence in the public healthcare system" and potentially interfere with the police investigation.
